Dove Mountain Elemental Temples

Dove Mountain is 20 acres of land nestled within the magical blue mountains of western North Carolina. This land holds five elemental temples and it is the home of Venus Rising Association for Transformation and Venus Rising University. Dove Mountain is home to a wide assortment of creatures, including foxes, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, lizards, snakes, turtles, hawks, owls, wild turkeys, crows, woodpeckers, turkey vultures and a variety of songbirds. Bear tracks have been seen high up on the mountain and we sometimes hear coyotes howling and the cry of a bobcat.

Dove Mountain was established by Linda Star Wolf and Brad Collins in 2006. Shortly after the purchase of this land, Star Wolf received a vision from the Ancient Great Goddess Isis, instructing her to build elemental temples and sacred sites upon the land of Dove Mountain. In her vision from Isis, Star Wolf saw that these elemental temples would serve as gathering places for kindred spirits from all over the world where they could come to journey, to dream and undergo shamanic transformation.

The intention behind Dove Mountain and the Elemental Temples is to bring people together to accelerate consciousness into higher love and wisdom, and two celebrate diversity within the unity in sacred ceremony and to promote both inner and outer peace in the world.

Today on Dove Mountain there are five Elemental Temples and Sacred Sites. The Dove Mountain Elemental Temples include: the Spirit Temple Deck, the Blue Star Wheel of Transformation, the Medicine Wheel, the Fire Temple and the Venus Rising Healing Arts Sanctuary. From Fire Walks to Vision Quests to Shamanic Breathwork, each of these sacred sites and temples are used regularly in ritual and ceremony, supporting those who are on the shamanic path of transformation.

Spirit Temple

Suspended within the magical blue mountains of western North Carolina is The Spirit Temple Deck. The Spirit Temple Deck is a large 20’X30’ wooden deck that is located on top of Dove Mountain. Overlooking all of the Dove Mountain Elemental Temple, the Spirit Temple Deck is a great place to pray and connect with your Higher Power.

The Blue Star Wheel of Transformation

The Blue Star Wheel of Transformation was a vision received by Star Wolf from her late mentor and teacher, Grandmother Twylah. In her vision, Star Wolf received direction from Grandmother Twylah to build a wheel that will connect to and anchor the Blue Star energies on planet Earth. This sacred site remains connected to the Blue Star energies and those who walk it, and spend time with it, receive downloads and teachings form the Blue Star.

Medicine Wheel

Our beautiful Medicine Wheel is our Earth Temple on Dove Mountain. Consisting of 37 stones, each weighing about 1000-2000lbs, the Medicine Wheel has been used for weddings, vision quests and all night ceremonies. Seekers come to this site to connect with healing energies of earth, their ancestors and animal totems. The Medicine Wheel on Dove Mountain is a powerful place to visit and re-member who it is you came here to be.

Fire Temple

The Dove Mountain Fire Temple is a large metal arch structure, sculpted to look like a flame. The inside of the arch is lined with filament, which can be lit up to shoot fire throughout the structure. The Fire Temple is located right below the Medicine Wheel on Dove Mountain and hosts all of the Fire Walks and other Fire Ceremonies here at Venus Rising.

Air Temple

The Venus Rising Healing Arts Sanctuary serves as Dove Mountain’s Air Temple. Located adjacent to the Medicine Wheel and Fire Temple, the Venus Rising Healing Arts Sanctuary serves as the home for all of our large Shamanic Breathwork ceremonies, concerts and art processes here at Venus Rising.

Water Temple

Our Water Temple is still in the dreaming phase! Please stay tuned and continue to dream with us as we co-create a water feature on the land of Dove Mountain.
